Welcome to a fisherman’s paradise
The Fisherman’s Corner on the Banks of the Dordogne
For lovers of nature and tranquility, the fishermen’s corner is a special spot at the campground. Located right on the water’s edge, this peaceful area invites you to take your time, cast your line, and enjoy the calm of the river in a lush, green setting. From sunrise to sunset, anglers can gather here to share their passion or simply enjoy a relaxing moment close to nature. It’s a charming, authentic spot where the stillness of the water and the birdsong accompany every moment.

We work closely with the fishing federation to protect and preserve the environment. If you enjoy this sport, we’d be happy to advise you on the best river access points, the types of flies to use, and provide information on water conditions and the best times to fish. (All regulations are available at the front desk; fishing licenses are sold on site.)

Canoeing trips in the Lot
Canoeing in the Dordogne Valley
Canoe trips: 80 km of river at the foot of cliffs and castles, a 4-day descent (pickup and drop-off at the same location every evening). This is still a unique way to explore the region. On-site canoe center; canoes available for rent for trips on the lake
